There is a kind of exhaustion that comes from constantly second-guessing yourself. Questioning your decisions. Doubting your instincts. Replaying conversations. Seeking reassurance before you move, even when something inside of you already knows. Many women don’t realize how deeply they’ve been conditioned to abandon themselves in small, almost unnoticeable ways. Saying yes when their body is saying no.
Staying in alignment with expectations instead of truth. Ignoring intuition because it doesn’t feel “logical” enough. Silencing inner nudges because they fear being wrong. And over time, those small moments accumulate.
You don’t just lose confidence you lose connection with yourself. June often carries a different kind of energy. Life is more active. Schedules are fuller. People are moving, gathering, traveling, deciding, and expanding. And in the middle of all that movement, something subtle often rises to the surface: “I don’t fully trust myself anymore.” Not in everything. Not always loudly. But in the quiet moments where you hesitate before choosing yourself.
Self-Abandonment Rarely Happens All at Once

Where being “easy to deal with” was rewarded more than being honest. Where survival required suppression. And so you adapt. You learn to read the room before you read yourself. You learn to consider everyone else’s comfort before your own clarity. You learn to question your feelings instead of trusting them. And eventually, self-abandonment becomes a pattern that feels like personality.
But it is not who you are. It is what you learned. And what is learned can be unlearned. Healing is not just about emotional recovery it is about restoration of trust between you and yourself.
