It’s back to school time again. The summer always seems too fast so I wanted to highlight some must-haves in your beauty arsenal as we get back into our school groove doing on-the-go makeup.
1. Beauty eraser(s):
Skincare products remove impurities that lead to breakouts and moisturize skin. These products can be anti-aging or natural products.
Foundation and concealer protect your skin from the environment while covering imperfections. CC creams are ideal for normal to dry skin because of their dewy finish.
Cream-to-powder foundations are excellent for combination-to-oily skin since they help to control the shine.
Powders can be worn alone or used to set liquid or cream-based foundations. Shade matching is more forgiving for CC creams and loose powders.
2. Beauty Tissues:
Also known as beauty blotters, absorb sweat and excess oil without disturbing your makeup.
3. Car makeup bags:
Are perfect when your schedule doesn’t go as planned. So you can do your makeup on the fly while escaping the clutter and messiness when doing your makeup in the car.
4. Beauty pencils and pens:
Are makeup brushes that create unique makeup artistry to achieve a flawless look.
– An all-over eyeshadow brush is perfect for when you are applying makeup to your eyelids and ideal for a one-and-done eye look.
– An eye crease brush helps you to add dimension to any eye look. The brush is angled to fit your eyelid contours and is ideal for eye looks with two or more eyeshadows.
– An eye-blending brush is another must-have to ensure you have a mirage of colors seamlessly blended to perfection and ideal for eye looks with two or more eyeshadows.
– A dual-end eyebrow/eyeliner brush tames brows. It also applies eyeshadow as eyeliner and fills in brows.
– A powder brush is the perfect tool to apply loose mineral or translucent powder to control shine and keep fingers off your face.
– A blush/highlighter brush enhances, highlights, and sculpts cheekbones and is ideal for applying blush, highlighter, or contour.
– A cream brush keeps your fingertips out of your face while it mimics fingertip application without any streaks. This brush can be used to apply concealer or lip color individually but one brush should not be used for both.
5. Beauty Crayons:
Are eyeliners and lip liners to accentuate your natural features with colors that make your eyes and complexion pop.
6. Beauty pocket folders:
Are palettes/compacts so you can touch up on the go or organize full-makeup looks. Small, medium, and large beauty folders are filled with eyeshadow, blush, lip color, and more.
7. Highlighters:
Are liquid eyeshadows used for one-and-done eye looks for quick errands or kids’ sporting events.
8. Beauty scissors:
Are tweezers that shape your perfect brow. Your eyebrows frame your face.
9. Beauty Glue:
Are primers and finishing sprays that gives your makeup staying power in summer heat and humidity.
10. Hand sanitizer:
Keeps hands free of bacteria and germs that can lead to breakouts or illness.
