TC Carson, Fred Jerkins, Darlene McCoy and More Celebrate Orleans Foods Tasting with Heidi and Micah Stampley -

(ATLANTA, GA) February 17, 2021 – New Orleans big band jazz filled the air and the aroma of beignets in the deep frier filled the room as Orleans Foods hosted its first private tasting of their new beignet mix at BUZZ Coffee and Winehouse in Atlanta, GA last night. Orleans Foods owners, world-renowned worship leader Micah Stampley and his wife Heidi, hosted an intimate tasting highlighting the couple’s new beignet mix now available on Walmart.com.

Notable attendees include actor TC Carson (Living Single), Fred Jerkins (Darkchild Entertainment), Darlene McCoy (radio personality – The Nightly Spirit), Charles Butler Jr. (gospel recording artist) and more! The delicious pastry was served in three different variations: plain with powdered sugar, powdered sugar with raspberry sauce, and powdered sugar with creamy sliced peaches. The delicatessen was also paired the traditional Louisiana beverage, coffee, that was provided by the venue.

When asked about the taste of the beignets, attendees said “amazing”, “incredible”, and “wow wow wow!” The family owned business was spearheaded in the kitchen by two of the singer’s sons: Adam Stampley and David Stampley (one of which plans to open his own café one day).

During the tasting, the Stampleys also announced the news of their new stand alone stores that are now open for business in Richmond and Chesterfield, VA: Orleans Beignets! Currently both locations are available for takeout and local area residents can take home the freshly made beignets to their families year round!

**Micah Stampley** has been hailed as one of the premiere male vocalists in the gospel music industry. His multi-octave range paired with a worshipper’s heart has been most notably heard on some of his hits including “Our God”, “War Cry”, and his breakout single recorded with **Bishop T.D. Jakes**, “Take My Life”. With accolades from some of gospel’s biggest influencers including **Pastor Donnie McClurkin**, Stampley is revered as one of the world’s leading worship leaders and psalmist. However, with all of his accomplishments he attributes a majority of his successes to his family upbringing in Baton Rouge, LA.
His 2005 debut CD, The Songbook of Micah (produced by Cedric Thompson) became the second highest Gospel Chart debut (at No. 3) for a male vocalist at the time thanks to “War Cry” and “Take My Life.” He was a Stellar Award nominee for Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
