What Is Author Talks?
Author Talks is a curated series of events hosted in Atlanta that centers Black authors and their work. Guests enjoy an evening that typically includes:
A pre-event “wine down” mixer
An in-depth book discussion with a featured author
Audience Q&A
Book signing
A VIP “Afterglow” experience. This includes live music, cocktails, and photo opportunities with the authors
Events are held at Buckhead Art & Company, located at 288 Buckhead Ave NE in Atlanta. This is an artsy, gallery-style setting that blends visual art with literature and culture.
The series highlights Black authors whose work spans genres, themes, and experiences. It offers readers the chance to connect not only with the books—but with the minds and hearts behind them.
