South Fulton’s Earth Day Parade SetsKids at the Forefront!

(SOUTH FULTON, GA) April 12, 2023 — The City of South Fulton and Kendall Rae’s Green Heart present South Fulton’s first annual Earth Day parade and fair entitled, “Dare to Care for Earth Day” on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22! The parade will be hosted by celebrity youth influencers,The Wicker Twinz (currently opening for That Girl Lay Lay) andThe Gianni Carlo Twins (ABC’s Queens) from 11:00am to 4:00pm. There will also be a special appearance from Georgia’s Youngest Certified Farmer, Kendall Rae Johnson (7yrs old). Corporate sponsors include Lowe’sStaples and Fulton County Schools. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will also be in attendance as well. 

The parade is free admission and fun for the entire family! Participants will be meeting at the LA Fitness parking lot at 6385 Old National Highway in South Fulton and parading to Grown Folks Cafe on 5495 Old National Highway. There will be games, vendors, giveaways, a live DJ, Kids Zone and more!  “We’re excited to host this community event and we want everyone to come out, play games, make new friends and learn about more sustainable ways that we can conserve our planet,” says, Ursula Johnson – mother to Kendall Rae Johnson.

In conjunction with this wonderful event, this ambitious seven-year-old will be releasing her new children’s book entitled, “I’m Growing Places”. Readers will learn how she started growing her farm from a seed and wondered what it would turn out to be. She feels it’s never too late to meet new friends, make new things and inspire other kids, when you keep growing!
