Head2Toe Magazine & Entertainment is a multimedia platform dedicated to amplifying Black-owned businesses, entertainers, creatives, and community leaders who are doing impactful and inspirational work. We exist to increase visibility, elevate stories, and create meaningful opportunities that lead to real growth and lasting success within the Black community.

At our core, Head2Toe is about connection and collaboration. We create a robust network of Black entrepreneurs, artists, and professionals—providing space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support. By strengthening these connections, we help build a stronger economic foundation where Black-owned brands and creatives can thrive together.

Through our digital and print magazine, online features, interviews, and curated content, we highlight inspiring success stories across multiple industries including beauty, fashion, entertainment, real estate, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Our platform serves as a valuable resource for both emerging and established Black business owners and entertainers by offering exposure, credibility, and storytelling that reflects their purpose and passion.

In addition to media coverage, Head2Toe Magazine & Entertainment now offers PR and brand visibility services designed specifically for small businesses, creatives, and entertainers. Our PR services help clients secure media exposure, strengthen their brand narrative, and position themselves for growth through press placement, strategic features, and promotional opportunities within our trusted network.

We are intentional about showcasing Black excellence—featuring hairstylists, barbers, nail technicians, fashion stylists, entertainers, authors, speakers, and community change-makers who lead with purpose. By spotlighting these role models, we inspire the next generation to pursue entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership with confidence.

Keisa Stewart-Rucker

Keisa Stewart-Rucker is the Publisher and CEO of Head2Toe Magazine and Entertainment. She attended Mississippi Valley State University and later earned her B.S. in Marketing from Columbia Southern University. Keisa is a licensed REALTOR® based in Atlanta, GA, and a retired Master Cosmetologist and Makeup Artist with over 20 years of experience. She was also the former owner of Head2Toe Hair Salon in her hometown of Mobile, AL.

With a passion for empowering entrepreneurs, Keisa combines her expertise in branding, social media, and marketing to help others elevate their businesses. Her extensive experience has given her a unique understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face. Whether through personalized consultations, comprehensive marketing strategies, or social media management, Keisa is committed to guiding her clients toward success.

As a respected CEO, Publisher, Editor-in-Chief, and REALTOR®, Keisa is known for her dedication, professionalism, and ability to deliver results. She continues to evolve with the industry, ensuring her clients are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive.

Amanda Owens

Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Wife, and mother of four Amanda boasts a diverse background spanning sixteen years in higher education administration and eight years in the travel industry. Over her career, she has provided invaluable guidance to more than 200 agents, aiding in the enhancement of their travel businesses across three countries. As a devoted wife and mother of four, she remains committed to achieving excellence in both her personal and professional endeavors.

Amanda, with her extensive background in the travel industry, has recently become a valued addition to Head2Toe Magazine’s team as the Contributing Travel Professional. In her role, she will be leveraging her expertise to provide insightful traveling tips and highlight budget-friendly vacation destinations for the magazine’s audience. Her wealth of knowledge promises to enrich the reader’s experience, offering valuable insights into the world of travel without breaking the bank.

Media Director

Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in the entertainment industry, Lyric’s innate motivation and curiosity drive her to create content that resonates with both her soul and her audience.

Her journey in the industry began as a background artist for award-winning artists and a writer for acclaimed musical director Donny Lyle. This early experience fueled her passion, leading her to roles such as a Production Assistant for Atlanta All Access and a Talent Coordinator/Stand-In for music videos and films.

In 2015, Lyric’s career took a significant leap as she assumed the roles of Executive Producer and Host for ATL Fresh TV, producing content that inspired and motivated viewers. Undeterred by challenges, she continued to expand her repertoire, serving as an Assistant Director for an independent short film in 2017 and winning first place in a four-hour film challenge.

In 2018, Lyric’s dedication to the industry led her to coordinate and produce a panel for the Bronze Film Festival, launching the Hollywood Way industry panel. This initiative is dedicated to educating and inspiring aspiring entertainers and beauty professionals. Concurrently, she hosted and produced “Lifestyles with Lyric Elise” on Hot Noize Radio, engaging with listeners and sharing her insights to motivate and inspire.

Currently, Lyric is actively involved in community initiatives aimed at educating and inspiring individuals interested in pursuing careers in both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes roles in the film industry and entertainment. 

Lyric Elise also has over 10 years’ experience as a Master Cosmetologist and Hair Growth Specialist. Early in her career, Lyric studied Trichology because of the struggles women had in her family with hair loss. She wanted to learn all she could about causes, prevention and treatment to help everyone around her who suffered in silence.


This journey led Lyric to becoming the educational director for a hair growth company and traveling the US to teach other stylists about the tricks of the trade in extension techniques and hair loss.

Specializing in hair growth with a bachelor’s degree in business. Lyric Elise combines her gifts and talents, practical work experience, and spiritual gift of teaching to encourage others to Live -Out -Loud With Confidence and Purpose!


LaKeshia Dubose

Women’s Wardrobe Coordinator

LaKeshia Debose is a passionate fashion enthusiast whose love for retail therapy has been a source of solace throughout her life, whether she’s strolling through malls or exploring the latest trends online during challenging times. As the owner of Exquisite Pieces Boutique, LaKeshia’s distinctive qualities shine through—from her innate generosity to her unique sense of style. Committed to delivering a personalized and exquisite shopping experience, she believes fashion should be accessible to everyone without the burden of exorbitant price tags. Unlike many boutiques that prioritize profit margins and high markups, Exquisite Pieces Boutique offers similar items at more affordable prices, making stylish fashion attainable for all. LaKeshia’s expertise and dedication have also led her to join Head2Toe Magazine and Entertainment as the Women’s Wardrobe Coordinator, where she continues to influence and inspire in the world of fashion.
