Orleans Foods is a emerging food brand owned and operated by Louisiana natives, Heidi and Micah Stampley. We both are seasoned in Creole/Cajun food culture and cuisine and have extensive knowledge on catering to this customer base. We opened our first creole cafe in April 2017 and the second in January 2019. We have now transitioned our company to retail food products of our signature recipes.
Our award winning signature mix is produced in a SQF certified facility and makes delicious, light and fluffy beignets that only require water and preparation.
Beignets are a dessert and breakfast delicacy. They are a Louisiana staple made famous globally by the world renowned Cafe Du Monde over 200 years ago. Our family recipe has been time tested while serving tens of thousands of customers in two restaurant locations (Orleans Brews and Beignets Coffeehouse and Cafe) over the course of three years to rave reviews which can still be found on several online outlets.
About Micah Stampley
Micah Stampley has been hailed as one of the premiere male vocalists in the gospel music industry. His multi-octave range paired with a worshipper’s heart has been most notably heard on some of his hits including “Our God”, “War Cry”, and his breakout single recorded with Bishop T.D. Jakes, “Take My Life”. With accolades from some of gospel’s biggest influencers including Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Stampley is revered as one of the world’s leading worship leaders and psalmist. However, with all of his accomplishments he attributes a majority of his successes to his family upbringing in Baton Rouge, LA.
His 2005 debut CD, The Songbook of Micah (produced by Cedric Thompson) became the second highest Gospel Chart debut (at No. 3) for a male vocalist at the time thanks to “War Cry” and “Take My Life.” He was a Stellar Award nominee for Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. The CD was reissued by EMI Gospel in 2006 as “The Songbook of Micah: Deluxe with Remixes”.
Since his debut album he has released five other projects including A Fresh Wind: The Second Sound (of which came two Stellar Award nominations), Ransomed (released on his own record label: Interface Entertainment), Release Me (released in association with Matthew Knowles’ Music World Music and included the hit song “Heaven on Earth”), One Voice, Love Never Fails (completed for Motown Gospel and co-produced with Aaron Lindsey and yielded a Dove Awards nomination), and To The King: Vertical Worship including the hit song “Be Lifted”.
