LaTavia Roberson wowed audiences on ABC’s “To Tell the Truth” Sunday Jan 29

ATLANTA, GA (Feb 1, 2017) — Original Destiny’s Child member, LaTavia Roberson graced the stage of ABC’s hit game show “To Tell the Truth” this past Sunday night. Roberson initially played the role of a survivor of the Miracle on the Hudson where a guest panel, Jamie Kennedy (“The Jamie Kennedy Experiment”), Natasha Leggero (‘He’s Just Not That Into You”), Rachel Dratch (“Saturday Night Live”), and Andy Grammer (singer), had to guess the authenticity of her story. She made a believable impression, causing an almost unanimous vote in her favor. After revealing the results, host, Anthony Anderson (“Blackish”), did a special round where the panel had to guess who was the original member of the R&B sensational group Destiny’s Child. Roberson again shined even rendering a brief melodic version of the group’s smash hit “No, No, No” during the reveal. The episode is now available On Demand and on abc.go.com.

About “To Tell the Truth”:
Hosted by Anthony Anderson and produced by FremantleMedia North America, To Tell The Truth is an anarchic and funny re-imagination of the beloved, game show of the same name. Anderson presides over four famous faces. In each round they will be presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with the same incredible talent, job or achievement. One is sworn to tell the truth while the others are not. The panel of celebrities have a chance to grill each participant before taking turns deciding who they think is telling the truth. Anderson’s brassy mother, Doris, is the official scorekeeper and asks questions of her own, not to mention embarrassing her son every chance she gets. The celebrity panelist who performs the worst will have to tweet a lie about themselves to the world.
