NaturallyCurly.com Partners with Renowned Celeb Hairstylist for Videos Featuring Behind the Scenes Styling Techniques for Those with Curly Hair
July 3, 2018 (New York, NY) –NaturallyCurly.com, the leading community and resource for people with curly hair, has teamed up with renown celebrity hairstylist, Monaé Everett, in a special behind-the-scenes vlog series known as “On the Road with Monae” that’s sure to excite curly girls and guys everywhere.

Best known for her stunning, intricate braided styles, Monaé has had her hairstyles featured with national media giants such as Harper’s Bazaar, ESSENCE, InStyle, Glamour, CNN, and Yahoo! Beauty. Her artistry has been displayed on such celebs as Mariah Carey, Dre Davis, Serena Williams, Laura Onses, Lilimar Hernandez, Taraji P. Henson, Daniella Perkins, and many more.

Now, followers of NaturallyCurly.com can watch the master at work as Monaé gives a sneak peak into her creative process of styling curly haired celebrities.

“Everett offered to provide the NaturallyCurly community with a behind-the-scenes look at some of her celebrity work, and we came up with a regular video series called ‘On the Road with Monaé,’” says Michelle Breyer, co-founder of NaturallyCurly.com, in a recent blog post. “She will showcase some of the techniques she uses on curly celebrities.”

Award winning stage and screen actress, Jasmine Cephas Jones, most known for her role in “Hamilton,” is featured in the first video as Monaé shows off her techniques to get defined, voluminous curls. “Changing the shape of your hair can really change the entire shape of your face,” Monaé says in the video. Monaé offers tips, such as these, and other styling gems in the weeks to come for features of other styling videos with her celebrity clients.

Also featured in Monaé’s NaturallyCurly.com behind the scenes series is Dominique Fishback, of “The Deuce,” “The Hate You Give,” and Jay-Z’s music video “Smile.” In this webisode, Monaé seamlessly blends Dominique’s natural hair with extensions to create a plethora of hairstyles for this shoot, all without using any heat!
