TORONTO – Film director Sudz Sutherland and Canadian mobile game developer XMG Studio are making noise in the Canadian hip hop scene, not with a song or music video, but a gaming app, .

And they’ve signed up celebrity Canadian and American hip hop producers to contribute beats to the -style simulation game, set for release on iTunes on Dec. 12,

Canadian hip hop producers behind include Rich Kidd, whose beats got fans nodding their heads to music by Drake and Busta Rhymes, Frank Dukes, MoSS, Badbadnotgood, Marco Polo and Ryan Hemsworth.

American hip hop producers on board the Canadian gaming app, which allows players to build record empires as music moguls, include Jake One and Mr. Porter, who worked with Eminem.
